About
My name is William Hohlt Pecore, born in 1999 and raised in Austin, Texas. I have been a practicing artist for my entire life, working across a range of media and disciplines that continue to inform my daily practice and inspiration.
My work moves between painting, graphic design, metal fabrication, and industrial design, where I focus on developing a consistent visual language grounded in material exploration and strong formal structure. Across these disciplines, I aim to build work that is both visually bold and carefully considered.
At the age of 18, I studied at the New York Studio School in New York City, becoming one of the youngest students in my class. That experience helped refine my visual sensibilities and strengthened my commitment to a disciplined, studio-based practice. I take pride in maintaining a high standard of visual clarity and composition in everything I produce, using both instinct and structure to guide my work.
